

Our gracious mom Eva Estrate went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 5, 2013. She was 83 years old. She was born in Weirton, West Virginia, December 15, 1929, to her loving parents Angelo and Anastasia Asvastas. Eva lived most of her life in Cortland, Ohio, until the family moved to Arizona in 1966. She said the desert was so beautiful and she would live there forever. She devoted her life and love to her five children and eight grandchildren whom she treasured. Eva worked at Coulter Cadillac for 18 years as a customer service representative and 15 years in retail. Everyone that met her was drawn to her loving heart and sweet kindness, unlike any other they have ever known. Her legacy is, she was devoted to her family, and her unselfishness and forgiving character was constant. She is survived by her sister, Katie Haidaris; her five children, Kathy Williamson, Tom Estrate, Evanne Cuccorelli, Evan Estrate and Georgia Livanos; grandchildren, Philip and Kathara Williamson, Nicholas Cuccorelli, Cole and Patricia Estrate, Christopher, Angela and Sophia Livanos; daughter in law, Kathleen Estrate; and son in law, Al Cuccorelli. A visitation will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, Thursday, September 12th from 5pm to 7:30pm, 719 North 27th Avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85009 (602-272-5639), with funeral service held the following day, Friday, September 13th from 10:00am to 11:00am, at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church (www.stharalambos.org), 7950 West Pinnacle Peak Road Peoria, Arizona 85383 (623-486-8665). Eva’s burial will take place Friday, September 13th after the service at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery 719 North 27th Avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85009.
