Eva Martinez, 89, peacefully joined Our Heavenly Father surrounded by her family on June 16, 2018. She was born on August 7, 1928 in a small pueblo within El Paso, Texas. Her hobbies included cooking, attending mass, gardening, crocheting, sewing, and tending to her pets. She was a dedicated mother-figure for four generations of her family. She is survived by her children Lupe (John) Gonzales, Ruben (Svetlana) Martinez, Joe (Toni) Chavez, Louie (Pamela) Chavez, Gilbert Chavez, Martin (Margaret) Martinez, and generations of their children. She was preceded in death by her parents Amado and Cliofas Martinez, and her children Eufemio Robert Reveles, Elvira Reveles and Irma Dominguez. She had an unconditionally loving and generous heart, and will be missed by all the people that she graced throughout her 89 years.
A viewing will be held for Eva on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, rosary 7:00pm at Advantage Maryvale Funeral Chapel, 6901 W. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Her funeral service will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 9:00 am at West Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Avenue, Glendale.
