On April 27, 1928 a young mother was told to take her baby home but not to name her because the baby wouldn't live. On October 2, 2017 that baby, Flora Ann Benedict passed away. She was surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home with her favorite music playing in the background. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Benedict. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Blackburn (Rod), Jacqueline Puga (Ralph) and Leslie Benedict (Jim), sister Elvia Gillott, brother John Hollis (Amanda), grandsons David Bradford (Patty), Craig Bradford, Nicholas Bradford (Tegan), Brian Puga, Patrick Puga (Teresa). 5 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and numerous "adopted" grandchildren.
