OBITUARY

Florence Mary LoPiccolo

September 20, 1924January 28, 2021

Florence LoPiccolo 96, our queen, angel, mom, grandma, and great grandma gained her wings January 28, 2021 in Surprise Arizona. Our lone survivor was ready to join her husband, sisters, and all her family, and friends that have gone before her. We know she is happy, having amazing reunions, partying, and dancing with her three sisters.

Florence was born September 20, 1924 to the late Joseph, and Frances Kotarba in Chicago Illinois. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Angelo LoPiccolo. Loving mother to MaryLynn Husar (the late Ralph Husar). Grandmother to Brian Husar (Tiffany), Lisa Buchanan (George), and Anthony Husar (Auttie). The best Great Grandma to Gianna, Harrison, and Maxwell. Proceeded in death by her siblings Walter Kotarba (Evelyn), Steve Kotarba (Fritzy), Dorothy Costanza (Mike), Theodore Kotarba (Rosita), Josie Banik (Walter), and Charlotte Coté (Richard). Loving Aunt to many nieces, and nephews, and a loving sister-in-law to many.

Florence was always the life of the party until the very end. She loved dancing, music, playing cards, and baking her famous chocolate chip cookies for her family. Most of all she loved just hanging out with her loving family. We are heart broken, and she will be greatly missed by all of us.

Mommy,
I thought you would be with me forever. I miss you so much. My heart is broken. My wish is that you are so happy up there and you can hear now. You can hear daddy and all your sisters and brothers that have been waiting for you.
I keep remembering what you always told me even when we had are little spats.
You would ask me who's your mommy. I would say your my mommy and you would say and your my baby and we love each other for ever.
Always remember your my mommy and I'm your baby and I love you forever and I am the luckiest baby in the world because you picked me.
I miss you and love you always.
Thank you for being my mommy.

Dear Aunt Florence You will be missed. I have so many fond memories of the times we spent together, especially when I was little. From the trips you and Uncle took me on to our special dance; which I taught Marylynn later. Even, when I would tease you about your grilled cheese sandwich, you put up with me. Yes, you are with the rest of your family and I can here them now saying “Here comes Flo”. Love Diane

You were ready, but no matter how old you got we were not . My brain tells me you're happy, but my heart is broken. I love you Grandma until we meet again <3
