

Fran leaves behind her daughter Marian (Cookie) Gannon and her companion Mark Dyda of Phoenix, Arizona, John Meaney Jr, her son, and his wife Kathleen Meaney of Charlton. Fran also leaves behind seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces.
Fran is predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Meaney, her daughters; Tammy McCormack, and Teresa Meaney, by her son Jimmy Meaney, her sister Paulette Dimmick, and her brothers; Fredrick and James Foti; Her son-in-law, Keith McCormack and her granddaughter, Jessica McCormack.
Born and raised in New York, Fran and Jack moved to Arizona in November 2016 to relocate to warmer weather. They were frequent travelers to North Carolina to visit their granddaughter.
Fran was active and liked to keep busy. She loved arts and crafts, knitting and quilting. Fran loved cooking with her family, going to play bingo, and swimming at the YMCA. Fran also loved music and was a life-long fan of the Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and the Jersey Boys.
Memorial services for both Fran and Jack Meaney will take place August 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Contributions in memory of Fran can be made to the Dementia Society of America or your local hospice.
