Dear “Mommy”,
I will miss you so much and I am deeply saddened by your departure. I have always known you as my nana, and to you I was your Granddaughter, there was no “step” family when it came to our family! I have so many wonderful memories with you and my Tata growing up. Get togethers at the motel and getting ice cream! I remember you were the first one to give me a tortilla with butter and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever! Haha I will also remember our road trip to El Paso with you, my mom, and EB in the back of my tiny car! But hey, we made it! And I am so happy you were able to meet Mike and EB. I could really go on and on, but I’ll remember and cherish the time I had with you and have peace in knowing you are flying high, walking the streets of Gold in your beautiful mansion! You hit the Jackpot! Your unconditional love will continue to be passed on through the generations. I love you so very much, say hello to my Tata and my Dad.... so long for now, until we meet again 💕

I am so very sorry to hear about Frances, and send me condolences to the whole family. I met Frances when I was 15, and very quickly began to realize what an amazing person she was. Often times she felt like a second mother, and taught me recipes & life skills in general that influenced who I am today. I always admired the way she led her family. Rest in Peace, Frances. And again, my deepest condolences.

My nana, for as long as I can remember, lived to be a Nana! When Daisy & I were younger we loved spending time at the motel, and were addicted to cinnamon & sugar toast that Nana made us, we were so young & didn’t realize that our parents could easily make it for us, so we asked Nana to make a jar of cinnamon sugar to take home and make our own, and of course, she did. She would always talk about how proud of her grandkids she was for their different accomplishments, and I loved when she would talk to me one-on-one & tell me old stories of my family. I wish I was able to be with her more, but I’m forever thankful for all the time, phone calls & memories made with her. Love you Nana, rest in peace ❤️

To my Mommy,
You are so special and so very dear to my heart. Ever since I can remember you were there. If I was worried or sad you somehow always knew just the right thing to say and gave the best advice. When I got hurt your “sana sana” made everything better. You and my Tata taught me the value of hard work and to take pride in whatever you do. I had some of the best times of my life at “El Jacal” restaurant , learning how to cook, to always “clean as you go”, and playing the Mrs. PacMan game with you until closing time. Watching you play the slot machines at Casino Arizona was pure joy. So many beautiful memories I will cherish forever. I will miss you so much Mommy, may you rest in peace.
Love, Tommy
