Frank Fae Stuart Canaga Jr

Frank Fae Stuart Canaga Jr. passed away January 11, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ at the Carl Hayden Veterans Administration. He is survived by his mother Patsy Beckman, his wife Karen Canaga, and his son Joel Canaga and his two granddaughters Alex & Sophia Canaga.

Frank was a dedicated son, a loving father to his children and step children, and friend to many. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars. Through his hard work, he would earn his commision as an officer in the US Army Reserve. After his service in the Army, he continued his interests in medicine by earning his Registered Nurse accreditation. He remained dedicated to public service as a civilian RN, and took great care of our Nations Veterans at the Carl Hayden VA hospital until his retirement.

In retirement, he enjoyed spending time on road trips to Las Vegas. He was an eager early adopter of technology, and could be spotted regularly at Family events with a smile on his face and the latest and greatest video camera in hand, making sure every moment of posterity would be captured. He was passionate in his beliefs as the Good Lord called him home.

A graveside service for Frank will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85301.
