Frieda Pauline Stielau passed away September 15, 2016 at the age of 96. She was born February 28,1920 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents, John and Pauline Orling. She was preceded in death by her husband Reinhold (Ronnie) Stielau. They were together for 53 years, moving to Phoenix, AZ in the late 1940’s.
Frieda had an unwavering faith in God; sharing God’s word was her real passion. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church where she took pride in teaching Sunday School. She touched all our lives with her contagious smile and open arms. She is survived by her daughter Lorri Sexton; her three grandchildren, Deryk Sexton, Lauren (Cameron) Simpson and Chad (Brooke) Sexton, as well as many other family members and friends.
She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 5105 N. 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85013. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Lutheran Hour Ministries.
