Garret Victor Allison

Raised in the Tacoma, Washington area, Gary grew up surrounded by the woods, animals, and the simple joys of farm-country childhood. Those early years shaped his love of hard work, adventure, and the outdoors—qualities that followed him throughout his long life.

In 1973, Gary moved his family to Phoenix, where he continued operating his plumbing business, carrying forward the work ethic and integrity that defined him. Over time, he became known as a

steady, dependable man whose hands built, repaired, and served countless people across the communities he loved.

Gary later spent 28 years as a business administrator, a role he carried with quiet strength and dedication. For five of those years, he and his wife traveled weekly to the Los Angeles Dream Center to

help establish and support its early development. Week after week, year after year, they poured their hearts into the ministry—leaving behind a legacy of service, faith, and compassion.

Gary lived a life marked by loyalty, grit, and generosity. He loved poetry, cowboy boots, country music, camping, family fishing trips, and the simple joy of a good cup of coffee. He believed deeply in working hard, loving his family, and serving God with honesty and humility.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his grandson, and his son, as well as his brother and sister.

He is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who will carry his memory forward.

After 89 years of living fully, working faithfully, and loving deeply, Gary is reunited with those who went before him—home at last, whole and at peace.
