Gary Sherman Moore, 72, passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on December 24, 2016. Gary was born September 9, 1944 in Whitehall, Montana to Sherman and Delores Moore (Davis}. He graduated from Whitehall High School in 1962. He attended college in Montana and served in the U.S Army, earning numerous medals and awards for his service in Vietnam. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Pam nee Brownback, daughter Meredith, son-in-law Tim {Dear} Moore and his sister Roberta Bigelow (Clyde) of Great Falls, Montana. Gary was a building supervisor for Maricopa County prior to his retirement. He loved his family, sports, good food, playing the ponies and exploring the Prescott forest in his ATV with his dog at his side. A Celebration of Life is planned for January. Interment will be in the Prescott VA cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
