Gaylord Marshall Welch Jr.

Gaylord Marshall Welch Jr., of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on November 29, 2021. He was born on February 14, 1952 to the late Gaylord Welch Sr., and Gale Lynlee McCourt. He attended Maryvale High School, class of 1971. He married the love of his life, Christine Ann Carter, on March 1st, 1975 in Phoenix. They were sealed for Time and All Eternity on March 6th, 1976. Gaylord worked as an Automotive Mechanic for more than fifty years. He spent the last six years working for AAA of Arizona. There are many people who have fond memories of him coming to their homes at night to work on their cars.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Gaylord held many different positions within the church.

Gaylord is survived by his loving wife of over forty-six years, Christine, his children, Trey, James, William, Mike and Kari. His daughter, Kimberly, preceded him in death in January 2012. He also had five grandchildren, Kyler, Kaycee, Brynn, Logan and Troy, grandson-in-law, Jared. Funeral services have not be planned at this time.
