Geneva S. Baker, 91, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on June 2, 2011. She was born February 19, 1920 in Owenton, Kentucky to Ray & Grace Ingram Shupert. Geneva spent many years as an entrepreneur and saleswoman. She was a member of North Phoenix Baptist Church and enjoyed being around people. Never was there a dull moment with her around! Geneva is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Frances Church, as well as her husband of 43 years, Coleman Baker. She leaves behind her daughter, Teri Stauters, 2 grandchildren, Teresa (Jimmy) Arteca and Gregg Hauersperger Jr., and her great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Cameron, & Cailyn. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix, AZ from 5-8PM with a Prayer Service being held at 6PM. Interment will follow in Owenton, Kentucky.
