Fink, George Edward age 87, of Phoenix, passed February 13, 2011, from complications due to an auto accident. After serving his country in the Navy during WWII, George eventually got into banking. He became a long time employee of various banks in the valley, including Valley National Bank, First Federal Savings and more recently Mera Bank. George retired in 1988. Not one to be dormant, he continued working as a free lance real estate appraiser for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 + years Hollis and daughter Kendal Speranza. George will be dearly missed by his longtime friends and surviving family members, including his daughter Kim Hanna, son-in-law Dennis, grandsons Matthew and Dylan, nephew George Leonard and niece Marsha Leonard. George will be remembered most for his engaging smile and his devoted love for his wife. Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 25th at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home Rd, in Phoenix.
