Geraldine J. Thompson, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on May 5, 2013. She was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on September 11, 1927 to Parker & Eleanor James. Geraldine was predeceased by her loving husband John Elbert Thompson on December 15, 1962 and her daughter Rhonda Thompson December 15, 1989. She is survived by her children; Jonica Griffith, Alvin (Camilia) Thompson and Darryel (Karen) Thompson, grandchildren; Danyell Thompson, Jamie Griffith, Christopher John Thompson, Tiaisha Ambrose, Ryan Anthony Thompson, Brianna Thompson, Lawrence Hester, Christopher Fortier, Ramiro Rodriguez, Andrea Rodriguez and three great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2013 with funeral service to begin at 2:00pm at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, family would like donations to be made to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014 in the name of Geraldine Thompson.
