The last moments we had with you keep replaying in my head. You joined us for Christmas dinner and gobbled down two bowls of menudo easily lol you were telling us all your plans and how work was going. When we went to see you in California I swear we laughed the entire time we were together and i’m so happy we have those memories with you. I’ll remember them and your laughs forever.   I hope youre wearing your locs and flannel looking super handsome

The first time I saw Gilbert, my eyes couldn’t get off of him! Then I was scared Bcz the feeling I had when we connected eyes. So I didn’t even wanna look at him. Then, one day he did his goofy thug strut & winked at me. Made me laugh. For a while he was tryna get w me then he finally wrote me a note & from that point forward our story was wrote! He was a male version of myself & to finally have someone as goofy, weird & full of life was the best feeling. He new how to light up a dark room. His laugh was like heaven! & when he sang to me it was like angels singing in my ear! He couldn’t sing but anything he did always heart warming haha. He always reminded me how beautiful I was. He always loved me the way I deserved. I loved when we did our Bible studies together & pray together. The good lord knows how much I love him! Gilbert was the love of my life! He never failed to amaze me! My heart was alwaaays smiling & so was my face! Gilbert, baby thank you for all the great memories! When I think about you there’s not one bad memory! It all brings back laughter & sitting in aww! Until we meet again baby! I love you, rest in heaven my love!
