Gladys Lee Love (Ray) (Jones) passed away peacefully of natural causes at home in Surprise, AZ surrounded by family at the age of 92. Gladys is survived by her brothers Charlie Ray (Brenda) and Bobby Ray, sister-in-laws Patsy, Shirley and Kathryn, sons Sam Jones (Maxine) and Jesse Jones (Joan), her grandchildren Sheri Sniegowski (Mike), Jesse Jones Jr., Shelly Ramsey (Craig), Alice Fox (Wayne), Julie Jones (Mike), Chuck Suitor (Lina) and Becky Schreiner (Greg). Gladys was also blessed with and is survived by 13 great grandchildren and 5 1/2 great great grandchildren (Gator is on her way!). I wish I could name all of the people who love Gladys, she leaves countless nieces, nephews, and so many other family members and friends who were close to her heart.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents Charles Edward Ray and Tress Sutton Ray, her first husband and father of her children, Jackie Jones, her second husband Gary Love, her daughter Jane Suitor, son-in-law Carroll Suitor, her brothers Man Ray (Imogene), Felix Ray, Blaine Ray (Ruth), Bud Ray, Joe Ray, Bill Ray (Doris), Merl Ray (Marilyn) and sister-in-law Jesselean.
Gladys was and will always be the Matriarch of our family. While her passing breaks our hearts, we could not be more proud of the conscientious, loving and supportive life that she lived for 92 years. While Gladys had many interests and hobbies, her family was always top priority and she was the epitome of what a Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother should be. She will forever live in our hearts.
Celebration of her life will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85009 on Thursday, February 7, 2019 with Visitation at 10:00 am, Service at 11:00 am and graveside immediately after.
