Glenn Vernon Stanley Jr. Heaven greeted an eternal Wildcat with angel wings when Glenn Vernon Stanley Jr., 88, passed peacefully from this life on January 1, 2013. Glenn and his wife Diana met and married while attending the UA, and resided in Tucson from 1988-2009. He was a proud season ticket holder of Wildcat football and basketball, an elder of Saguaro Christian Church and a member of Rincon Kiwanis. Glenn is survived by his wife Diana; children, Cathy Boyd (Robert), Phoenix; Barbara DeMichele (Mark), Coronado, CA; Greg (Patti), Casa Grande; Liz Meyers (Bill), Phoenix; Sara Fleury (Charles), Phoenix; Mark (Jodi), Phoenix; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Glenn V. Stanley III, and his sister Lois Godshall.
