Gloria Louise See

Gloria, 87, a Phoenix native, left this life to join her beloved husband Frank, on February 24, 2011, in Phoenix, AZ. She was a graduate of Madison Number One Elementary, North Phoenix High School and attended Iowa State Teachers' College while proudly serving in the Waves during WWII. For two years she was the chapel organist at the Naval Repair Base in San Diego, California and later became the church organist at Westwood Community Baptist Church in Phoenix for 16 years. She shared her gift of music with her family and friends throughout her life. Gloria was married to Frank for 44 years, raised four children, and has enjoyed the lives of three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Glenn, sister Mildred and her parents. She is survived by her sister Marian Wise, son George, his wife Melanie and grandson Daniel, son Gregg and his wife Cheryl, daughter Claudia and granddaughters Kristin and Natalie, and great-grandson Frank. A memorial service will be held at the Beatitudes Plaza View community room on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 1pm. Donations or contributions may be made in Gloria's name to Hospice of the Valley.
