Glynnell L. Buffington,79 of Phoenix, passed away on September 16, 2013. Glynnell was born in Muleshoe, TX on October 3, 1933 to Bryon and Thelma Dunaway. She graduated from Creswell High School, Creswell, OR. She married Richard Buffington in 1953 and they spent 60 years together enjoying traveling, fishing and music. Glynnell was a member of North Hills Church of God and had a passion for her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She is survived by her husband, Richard; children; Robin Simms (Phil), Tammy Hunt (Scott), Richard, Terri Harten (Chris); siblings, Shirley Viohl, Donnie Dunaway (Sandy), Nelwyn Lutje; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 22nd at 2:00 P.M. at North Hills Church of God, 15025 N. 19th Ave. Private family burial will be held on Monday.
