on April 28, 2021 after living 103 years on earth. She was raised by loving parents, Ernest and
Belle Hoblit in Cleburne, Texas. Grace enjoyed a big family with 3 half brothers, Clyde, Claude
and Clinton, and siblings- Bessie, Luis, Albert Ray, Dorothy and Alice. She met the love of her
life, Bill Moseley, when she was 13 years old. They married in front of her family and friends in
Cleburne on Christmas Eve, in 1933. Grace was 15 and Bill was 17 years old. Looking for a
job in the depths of the Great Depression, they moved to Phoenix, AZ. Grace worked as a
librarian in the Murphy School District for 23 years and was very active in her church, Central
Baptist Church, and later, Bethany Bible Church. Grace had a passion for cooking and was a
master seamstress. She was the state director for the Women’s Missionary Union in Arizona
and a founding member of the Beth Sutherland Book Club which has been active monthly for 67
years.
Grace is predeceased by her parents, her husband (Bill), son Tom (Shirley), son Jerry, and all of
her siblings. Remembering and missing her are her daughter Judy (Dr. Richard),
daughters-in-love Cathy and Vickie, grandchildren Alisa, Linda, Daniel, and Deb,
great-grandchildren Jordan, Austin, Brandon, Logan, Wesley, Madalynn, and Trinity, and
great-great-grandchildren Emma and Bradley.
