Harold went to be with the Lord on Sunday March 2, 2014. He was born in Phoenix, Az on September 17th, 1928 and raised on Roosevelt St. He was devoted to his wife and family, loved Az and touched so many lives as a devoted educator. He loved his country and was deeply faithful to God. He was a forward artillery officer with the 143rd Field Artillery during the Korean War and promoted to 1st Lieutenant. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn, Son David Yost, Daughter and Son-in-law Guy and Lynne Augsburger and his Grand Daughter Amy Augsburger. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 7th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave, in Phoenix. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 8th at Historic First Presbyterian Church Norton Chapel, 402 W. Monroe, in downtown Phoenix followed by a Graveside service with Military Honors at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
