As a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt, her loss will be felt deeply. Heather’s greatest legacy was her love of books that she shared with her nieces and nephews as well as her great nieces and nephews.
Novelist Carlos Ruiz Zafon said “Few things leave a deeper mark on the reader, than the first book that finds its way to his heart” and for many in her life, that introduction came through Heather. The books she gifted, including Nancy Drew, The Boxcar Children, Harry Potter and the Magic Tree House, helped transport the people in her life to magical lands.
Her family will find solace in revisiting these escapes while remembering Heather’s guiding hand that led them there.
Heather was born March 23, 1952 in Harveysburg, Ohio and moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she spent the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Glen. She is survived by sisters Cheryl, Susan, Wanda and brother Robert; nephews and nieces Joe, Cristin, Hien, Shannon, Megan, Michael, John and Jennifer; and great nephews and nieces Ella, Maddie, Nyssa, Arman, Ethan, Emma, Alek, Stassi, Weston, Matthew and Evelyn.
A private family ceremony will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. https://www.barbarabush.org/
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.phoenixmemorialmortuary.com for the Frost family.
