Heather is survived by her parents; her husband, Peter Skoubis; her daughters, Faith and Penelope; her step-sons, Zachary and Nicholas; her sister, Misty Grauvogl and her brother, Lincoln Norris.
Heather was born in Tomah, Wisconsin on July 15, 1977 to Jeff Norris and Denise Armstrong (Ells). Heather always over-excelled at sports and received many awards from Nekoosa High School and Mid-State Technical College. She was an avid runner and trained hard to complete a triathlon. She graduated from Mid-State Technical College in 1998 with a degree in Police Science. She worked for the Wood County Sheriff Department as a deputy and in Juvenile Corrections. After her career in law enforcement, she was a manager for Lands’ End. She moved to Phoenix and became a manager at Culvers. Pete and Heather were married in January 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada. On March 18, 2002 and July 8, 2015 respectively, she welcomed her two beautiful daughters who were the light of her life.
Heather was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her children, whether it was camping and fishing or reading a book. She loved to draw, paint, make arts and crafts, and hunt for a great bargain. She loved her family vacations to California and enjoyed taking her children to Disneyland. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
There will be a visitation on Friday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 with a gathering to celebrate her life following the graveside service.
