Helen Jean Bergren was born in Mount Carroll, Illinois on April 27, 1924 and passed peacefully at the age of 92 of natural causes in Phoenix, Arizona on December 3, 2016. She is survived by her three sons and their wives; Richard and Lynn, Robert and YaNan and Douglas and Candice; her four grandchildren; Trent (Chanelle), Kimberly (Eric), Jenna and Krista and her four great grandchildren; Aura, Braeden, Frankie and Adalynn. We will forever miss her wit, generosity, sense of style, warmth, sassiness, wisdom, sarcasm, love of playing cards, a glass of red wine and delicious chocolate cake. We are at peace knowing that our “HJ”, “GG” or “Busy Bee Helen” is in heaven, causing a ruckus, with her beloved husband Franklyn W. Bergren and grandson, Frank Bergren. The family suggests donations be made to Crosswinds Presbyterian Church (20215 N. 15th Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85027) or Sage Hospice and Palliative Care (5111 N. Scottsdale Rd. #204 Scottsdale, AZ 85250).
