Helen Newman, a mother, grandmother, and friend, went to her eternal home on, February 12, 2012, at the age of 86. She was the daughter to Dirk & Naatje Verboom, born in Holland. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Newman and daughter Marja Newman. She is survived by her loving granddaughter Joy (James) Becker of Glendale, Arizona, and her great granddaughter Courtney Nicole Becker. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 West Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ.
