Henry Chris Striedel

Henry Chris Striedel, 85, passed away on December 3, 2013. He was born in Yorktown, Texas to Alfred and Lillian Striedel. He is survived by his wife Janette of 57 years and two married daughters, Dawn and Steve Froehle of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kim and Michael Keller of Irvine, California and married son Steven and Mary Striedel of Mesa. Five loving grandchildren, Capt. Robert N. Short, USAF and wife Becky from Tucson, Ryan and Megan Striedel of Mesa, Jana and Jack Froehle of Scottsdale. Three loving great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Sadie and Ethan Short, and his sister Adele Gutierrez from Apopka, Flordia. Henry served 30 years in the United States Navy rising to the position of Commander and retired in 1978. A viewing will be from 12:00-12:30 PM, Monday, December 9th at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd. The funeral service will begin at 12:30. Following the service, interment will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd.
