Henry Jacob Wegmann

Henry Jacob Wegmann Jr. passed away on November 18, 2020. Services honoring his life will take place at a later date with placement at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Henry Jacob Wegmann Jr. was born on February 3, 1941 in Belleville, Illinois. His parents were Henry J. Wegmann Sr. and Violet Debatin Wegmann. He attended High School at Belleville High school from 1954-1959, followed by Belleville Area College where he completed coursework. Henry proudly served the Navy from 1959 until 1963 of which he was a proud member of the USS Enterprise and aided in the Cuban Missile Crisis. Henry later became a journeyman electrician. He worked with a service company in which he remodeled many McDonalds restaurant drive through systems. In 1981 he and his family moved to Arizona and he worked at Palo Verde Nuclear Power Station. Following that, he began working for Arizona State University, retiring in July of 2006. Henry was a member of IBEW Electrical Workers Union and the American Legion. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Cleanne Wegmann, who he was married to in 1975. children Shelley (Don) Kinder of Arkansas, Henry G. Wegmann of Missouri, step children Gailyn Garcia of Phoenix, Kristen (Joáo Jõse) Hammer of Brazil, six grandchildren and one brother, David (Karen) Wegmann of San Francisco.
