

Herman Frank, 84, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on 9/11/2012. Born 1/1/1928 in Castle Butte on the Navajo reservation of Arizona to Mary Frank Silversmith, lived in a Hogan & herded sheep for his grandmother during his early years of childhood up to that time he attended school at Phoenix Indian School. He later met and married the love of his life his wife the former Revina Berry, and just celebrated 60 years of love in 8/30/2012. The couple traveled extensively seeing God's wonders across this country. Throughout the year he served as Deacon of All Nations' Baptist Church and he and his wife made 3 mission trips to America Samoa, and visited the Holy Land of Jerusalem and the highlight of their lives were both being baptized in the Jordan River. Herman retired from working for the state at ASU, he was an accomplished Navajo silversmith & painter, he loved fishing in the White Mountains with his brother, nephews & grandsons. Left to cherish his memory, daughter Phyllis Whitecloud of Anadarko, OK, son Phillip Frank of Yakima, WA, 5 grandsons & 2 great-granddaughters & 2 great-grandsons, and 1 sister Dorothy Begay of McNary, AZ. He is preceded in death by his sister Bella Preston, and brother Jimmy Silversmith. Viewing will be held on Sat, 9/15/12 beginning at 10:00 AM at All Nations Baptist Church, 1333 W. Osborn Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place 9/19/12 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma.
