He was born in Phoenix, AZ, January 30, 1941, and died in Phoenix on August 5, 2021, age 80.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” LaZarr and his daughter, Juliane C Berquam. And his son in law, Thomas “Jodi” Berquam. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Rebecca and Eleanor Berquam.
He was a veteran who served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and then became an elementary school teacher. His passions included watching history shows, shooting guns, and collecting coins. He was know by many for his caring and generous heart. He is missed and loved greatly.
