.At about 6:35pm Saturday evening on April 8, 2017 a wonderful mother, grandmother and family member passed on; leaving the world and her living relations in a state of mourning. The Father called Ida Jones 78 home and is survived by; her daughters -Toni and Tina Drury, grandchildren - Taylor Akins , Crystal and Keith Petrosky, step children - Martha Boyles and Francis Klinkert and their children. Her brother Wilburn Vandergrifft with his family and many more will miss her caring, love, humor, and witty conversation over meals and holidays. Ida was a wonderful matriarch and model to what makes a family strong; acceptance and respect for each person’s unique gifts and strengths. The valuable lessons of life shared, will continue to bless each community where her family resides.
Viewing and services to be held at Phoenix Memorial Park 200 W Beardsley, on April 17th with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., with the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
