A day doesn't go by that I don't miss my dear friend Irene.  I have a picture of her on my desk and everyday I think back to all the good times we had...and there were many!

1987--at the ten year Clark High reunion -- that's the last time I saw and spoke to Irene.  Before that, I spoke with her once on campus at UNLV around 1980.  For each time, the content of our conversation is vivid.  She always brought up such crucial subjects.  At Our Lady of Las Vegas elementary school, for third grade we were best friends.  What great memories and what a privilege to have known her.  She was so smart, so funny, and so much fun.  I am in shock to hear she passed away.  I am grieving, so I know her family must feel a great loss.  I send my deepest sympathy.  Godspeed, Irene!

My memories of Irene will always be of a beautiful, gentle, even tempered woman that adored her husband and her daughter.  In my mind she will never be old, but have that glistening smile, long dark hair and peaceful presence.  Steve and Brianne you will be in our prayers as you learn to live life without her, she will always be by your side.

You probably don't remember meeting me but I am Dave Deitch's sister Jennifer and I just heard the very sad news. Irene was such a wonderful, wonderful person. Please feel comfort knowing that she is at peace. Cherish all the wonderful memories -- they live forever. Find comfort knowing she has a good friend in Heaven. Many sympathies to your family.

When we were kids, we always had a great time. I remember those days fondly, she will be missed. My prayers are with you all. May time and faith heal your loss.

A great friend and mentor during our time at State Farm.  I was fortunate to see her recently.  She was happy and in good spirits. Will always remember her for introducing me to Robertos Tacos! Thanks Irene!

Irene was such a funny and happy person.  I fondly remember her laughter and practical jokes.  She was a dear friend and although I have not seen her in many years, I have thought of her often.  God bless your families and you are all in my prayers.

Our Dearest Friend Irene,

 When our eyes first met we connected...there was just something about your incredable smile and that sparkle in your eye that right then and there I knew that we would be friends forever!  
 All those Saturdays and Sundays we spent together as a golfing foursome we grew even closure than I had first imagined and you and Steve accepting Mark and I as your parents away from home we took as an honor!  
 How many times I would laugh until I could laugh no more because that damn golfball of yours would not follow your direction...and that's when I gave you the nickname Damnit Irene....and that's what I say now...Damnit Irene, I'm going to miss you!  The only thing I can think of is that God must have needed you there with him because there is no other reason that I can think for you being called to heaven so soon.
 Until we see each other again...I will think of you and how much I miss your sweet voice and laughter.  XOXOXOX

Irene was such a wonderful person.  I will never forget all of the good times we had, especially when playing golf and tennis together. Irene always lifted my spirits and made me laugh. This seems terribly unfair; she had so much to give and was still so young. She fought a long fight and at least she is now at peace. I will truly miss her and I am so sorry for her family's loss.

Irene was so full of kindness, laughter and love. She was truly a blessing from heaven for all who were touched by her life and spirit. She couldn't help but make everyone around her a better human being just by her presence. She loved her family dearly and truly treasured them all.  Her greatest joy was bragging about Steve and Brianne!  I keep all of you in my prayers and know that Irene's fiesty spirit is in heaven rousing up everyone and I look forward to being joined with her again.
