Jack Randolph Abeyta
November 1, 1944 – September 21, 2019
Jack R Abeyta passed away in Phoenix on September 20, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Jack was born in Superior, Wyoming. He was the fifth of 11 children born to Charles and Ramona Abeyta.
Soon after his birth, the family moved to New Mexico, where Jack grew up. He graduated from Valley High School in Albuquerque and went on to earn his Bachelors in Business Administration from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces in 1972.
While in college, he met the love of his life, Rosalinda (Linda) Otero. They remained married for 46 years until his passing.
Jack honorably served in the United States Army for 4 years during the Vietnam War. After coming home, he went on to work in Personnel with Phillips Uranium and later in Banking in New Mexico. He later worked as a civilian pay tech for the National Guard in New Mexico and Arizona until his retirement.
Jack was extremely active in his church and would often be found volunteering for various duties at the Glendale 7th Day Adventist Church.
Jack is survived by his wife Linda, their daughter Kristina, their grandson Enrique, 5 sisters and numerous members of his extended family.
