

Jackie June Hill passed away on October 24, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 82. Jackie was born on September 7, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of George Irving Vaughn & Ann Dora Dodson.
She is preceded in death by her parents George & Ann, as well as her beloved grandmother Ruby Jewel Moore. She is survived by her 4 children Shari Dunn (Russ), Debbie Fugit (Craig), Jerry Hill (Lorna), & Connie Colman (Bob), 13 grandchildren (Nicole, Becky, Michael, Tiffany, Clinton, Joey, Taryn, Matthew, Lauren, Amanda, Charmaine, Melanie, & Max) & 21 great grandchildren, with the 22nd arriving November 2024. She is also survived by her sister Georgia Lessard (and family) and other surviving family members include Uncle Jack, Uncle Jay, Aunt Julie (and family), and cousin Sue.
Jackie spent all her life in Arizona and is a native Phoenician. Jackie enjoyed a beautiful life of crocheting, reading everything she could get her hands on, shopping estate sales with her grandchildren, baking desserts and most especially spending quality time with her family. Teeny, her devoted standard poodle, was her most treasured estate sale purchase. She was a personnel assistant with the Department of Public Safety, from 1977-2005. Jackie will be missed by all her family and friends.
A celebration of life service for Jackie is being planned for the spring of 2025.
