Dear Mary, I just heard of Jim's passing. I so enjoyed working with Jim, he was a man of great character.

who loved Jimmy. He was a man of great character and had so much love in his heart for those he knew. His ability to see beyond the surface of a person and truly understand what they were about was amazing. Of course we will all
miss a good joke from Jimmy too. He really has a wonderful soul and I miss
him deeply and forever he will be remembered as my close and deeply loved brother. 
Our family so embraces the acts of love and kindness everyone has shown.
God has his loving arms around Jimmy now. We have been blessed.

There's not enough we can say to express our sorrow but we don't want to disguise the joy of him being able to wise crack with an Uncle Al that very much loved and admired him even in just a few years of knowing him. They are probably in some heavenly version of one of those Hughes Air Worst wonders joking how you can see both Las Vegas and Phoenix if you get over the Grand Canyon (or some other smart alecky story). Love to all and a big hug Mary, Chris, Matt, Beth and everyone.

By high school, Jimmy knew he wanted to add another Arnold family to this world, more than anything else. The love of his parents, sisters and brothers had no equal in his life. Soon, it would be his turn. And when it came, he gave his all.       

 Always, Mary, his sons, daughter, grandchildren and his first family live in that love that he shared with such a full heart. It's a gift that Jimmy was born to serve to so many. Family, friends, neighbors, even acquaintances gravitated to Jimmy's soul of happiness and love. Me too... Only a few steps west.  Forever,  Geggy

In the 60 or so years that I've known Jimmy, he has always been the kindest, gentlest, most caring human being.  He also was pretty darn funny.  We shared a lot of laughs, and a lot of spiritual times.  At the end of life's journey, we embark on another journey.  For a soul as pure as Jimmy's, the journey is sure to be wonderful and mysterious.  Godspeed, Jimmy.

This earth has lost a good sole.  Mary I am sorry for your loss, I am sure Jim will have a good one liner joke for St. Peter at the pearly gates to heaven. Mr. pickle will always have special spot in my memory, hours of laughing together.

I have many fond memories of Jim he has a great brother in law. Some 35 to 40 years ago Jim and I were talking about childhood memories of birthdays. I mentioned how much I liked getting a new crisp dollar bill from my Grandpa Shanks each year. It was not the money it was knowing I was thought of and given something all my own. That next birthday I got a card from Jim and yes there was a brand new dollar bill in it. I laughed,I cried , I hugged that dollar for what it meant. For many years to follow I got a new dollar bill in a birthday card from Jim. When pressed he admitted he would go to a bank to get a good crisp one. Jim so understood how little things mean so much.
