He is Predeceased by his parents; sister, Juanita Worcester; three brothers, Alvin, Marvin, and Thomas Basham; and his Spouse of 46 years, Joan Basham.
James is survived by one sister, Rosa Shumway; three bothers, Allen, Chester, and Willie Basham; Two children, Delora Basham and Richard Basham; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held October 19th at 9:00am followed by a funeral service at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary. James will be laid to rest at Phoenix Memorial Park on October 19th at 12:00pm.
