James Allen Jobes, known to many as “Jimmy,” of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the age of 67. He was born on August 27, 1958, in San Diego, California, and was raised in Prescott, Arizona.
James graduated from Prescott High School in 1976. He owned and operated his plumbing business, Jobes Emergency Service, until his accident in October 2024.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herschel Marney Jobes, and his mother, Genette “Copley” Jobes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betsy; his sons, Troy (wife Staci), Herschel (wife Samantha), and Samuel; and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
James was a devoted grandfather who treasured spending time with his family. His love and dedication to those closest to him were evident in all that he did.
Services will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary on Friday, February 6, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the same location.
Following the service and burial, family and friends are invited to gather for food, fellowship, and remembrance of Jimmy.
