James proudly served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1961, carrying forward the quiet courage of that commitment throughout his life.
On July 22, 1967, James married Darlene Diedrick, and together they built a family that remained the center of his world. In 1979, James founded Trinity Machine and Grinding with his father and four brothers.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene, and their four children: Lora (Chris) Rael, James Kaiser Jr. (Tina), Ken Kaiser (Becky), and Jeff Kaiser (Heather). James was also a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren (Keith, Kris, Felicia, Tyler, Caleb, Analisa, McKenzie, Bode, and Keegan) and a great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren (Julian, Temri, Colton, Tristan, Brayden, Hazel, and Robert). He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bertrum and Dolores Kaiser; father-in-law, Harry Diedrick; mother-in-law, Irene Diedrick, and brother, Thomas Kaiser.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, James was compassionate in the ways that matter most—steady, present, and deeply loving. He loved his family more than anything else, and that enduring devotion will remain his legacy.
James also found joy in sports, faithfully following the Cleveland Guardians, the Cleveland Browns, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. In the community, he and his wife shared their generous spirit by serving as Santa Claus for Operation Santa Claus, bringing warmth and cheer to others.
Visitation will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027, on August 12, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at the same location on August 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Committal Service immediately afterward from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. A catered reception will follow from 11:30 am -1:30 pm.
