James Kenneth Parker, known to most as Ken, KP, Kenny or Parker, left us peacefully with his family by his side on August 16th 2019 in Surprise Arizona. Ken was born on April 10th 1941 in Arkansas to Claude and Rosie Parker. Ken had three brothers and one sister with his only surviving brother Johnny Parker. Ken was married to Joan Parker who preceded him in death in 1983. He is survived by his wife Juanita Parker, his four children, nine stepchildren, many grandchildren and great grandchildren that he dearly loved. In his younger years he loved flying his ultra light planes. Ken's favorite thing to do was to work in his garden and watch the flowers and vegetables grow. Another favorite was his pond. He loved the peacefulness, listening to the waterfall and and watching the hummingbirds fly around. He loved doing wood work. He loved making furniture and even made his own casket. He liked giving "his" advice and didn't care if you liked it or not.
Please join us in celebrating his life Saturday August 24, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 701 N. 95th Ave Tolleson, Arizona at 10:00 a.m followed by a luncheon. You are more than welcome to join us at the West Resthaven Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Ave Glendale, Arizona at 2:30 p.m. for the interment.
