Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He is remembered for his sweet nature, unwavering faith, genuine happiness, and signature suspenders. He collected pocket knives and free gifts with purchase. Jim was truly a family man, constantly stealing kisses from his "Barbie" and never missing an opportunity to tell his family how much he loved them. His favorite phrase perfectly embodies his personality: "happy, happy happy."
Jim was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather "Papa," and great-grandfather "Big Papa." He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Rezac, his children William (Laura) Rezac and Cheri (Michael) Pearlstein, his four grandchildren Trevor (Chasity) Rezac, Ashley (Josh) Wiberg, Jimmy Pearlstein, and Brandon Rezac, his two great-grandchildren Charlotte Wiberg and Dean Wiberg, and his siblings Jolene Froembling, Kenneth Rezac, Kathy (Mike) Walters, and Mike (Mary) Rezac.
Jim was a heart transplant recipient and proud supporter of Donate Life, a nonprofit organization that works to increase the number of organ donors to help save more lives through transplantation. For more information visit: https://www.donatelife.net/.
