Jane Hughes Hoover passed on from this earth to be with her cherished family members that went before her on February 18, 2012 at the age of 92. Jane was born and raised in Aspinwall, Pennsylvania on October 29, 1919. She attended college in Grove City, PA. She moved to Arizona over 60 years ago. Jane worked at APS and at Valley Presbyterian Church for 10 years as a secretary to Dr. Wilson Kilgore. She was married for 50 years to the love of her life, Sam, until his passing in 2007. She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her quick wit and sense of humor. Jane is survived by son, Sam, (Kristie), grandson, Ryan, (Carly), cherished great-grandson, Adam (4); son, Scott, grandsons, Zack and Dillon; nephews, Warner Marshall (Jane) of Charlotte, NC and Bill Marshall (Mickey) of Green Valley, AZ. She also leaves behind many, many dear friends. The family would like to thank everyone at Vi at Grayhawk for their love, care and support of Jane during her life there. Per Jane’s request, no services are planned. Donations can be made to Valley Presbyterian Church in Jane’s memory.
