

Jane S. Lindstrom, 92, of Glendale, AZ passed away June 28, 2013. She was born on January 30, 1921 in Douglas, AZ but lived primarily in the Phoenix area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church her entire life. She loved working with the children and was the superintendent of the children’s nursery. Jane married James A. Lindstrom in April of 1943. Together they raised two children, Laurel and Chris. Jane was employed by Mountain Bell Telephone Co until her retirement. While there she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and enjoyed her charitable work. She had a wide circle of friends from work, church and neighbors. They would often meet for luncheons and birthday parties. They loved getting together for a fun time. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Vera Shirrell Nimitz and her son, Chris Paul Lindstrom. She is survived by her husband, Jim, daughter, Laurel Baker, Granddaughter Kelli, Great Granddaughter Ashley, brother Charlie and his wife, Allene , nephew Hank and Niece Ursula as well as the many friends she valued throughout her life. Jane will be greatly missed and always remembered for her sense of humor, kindness and her love for life. Services for Jane will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave in Phoenix on Monday, July 8th with a visitation at 1:00 and funeral service at 2:00 with interment to follow.
