Janice Dale Bennici

Janice Dale Bennici, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 75 years old. Jan was born on October 12, 1949, in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Dale and Frances (Johnson) Porter. She has spent most of her life in Arizona. Jan gave her all to the banking industry for 35 years. She worked her way up to become the Vice President of Banking in the dealer finance division.

Jan enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing, cooking/baking, and a casino or two. She loved her family and helping others. And most of all, she loved Jesus.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Candy Grant, and her son Tim Painter. She is survived by her husband Paul Bennici; her son Jim (Shannon) Painter; her brothers Dick (Stephanie) Porter and Bob (Betty) Porter; her grandchildren Nathan (Tara) Painter and Ciara (Chris Garland) Painter; as well as her four great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and countless others that were Blessed by her sweet spirit.

Jan’s family would like to thank the staffs at Fairmont Village and Americare Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Jan and ensuring a smooth transition.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 11:00am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Memorial, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85027.
