Jennifer Anne Lingo

Jennifer Ann Lingo, born October 2, 1935, in Swindon, England, to Cyril Jack Lusty and Frances Alice, passed away [insert date] at the age of [insert age]. She was the eldest of two children and spent her early years in Swindon, where she attended school and continued on to some college studies.

It was in Swindon that Jennifer met the love of her life, a young Air Force serviceman. They were married in the Church of England and soon after welcomed their first child, a daughter. Following his release from the Air Force, the couple relocated to Kentucky, where he secured employment and together they began building their life in the United States, later welcoming a son.

About 63 years ago, her husband was offered a position with the Chevron Asphalt Plant, which prompted another move for the family. Through each relocation, Jennifer created a loving and welcoming home, carrying with her the warmth, strength, and grace of her English roots.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Jennifer worked for several years as an office manager for podiatrists. She and her husband were also dedicated supporters of the Phoenix Suns, where they became some of the organization’s most faithful attenders.

Jennifer will be remembered most for her sense of humor, her love of people, her kindness, her empathy, and her compassionate spirit. She adored her children, cherished time with her grandchildren, and found joy in watching Wheel of Fortune, pulling practical jokes, reading anything she could get her hands on, and shopping for purses, clothes, and little treasures. She also loved her dog, Maxie, who passed before her.

She leaves behind her daughter, Sheree, and her husband, Roger; her son, David; her grandchild, Ryan; her great-grandson, Argent; her great-great-grandson, Maxen; and her sister, Diane. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Frances.

Like her dad used to say "Jennifer Ann, Jennifer Ann, if you can't be good be as good as you can". you'll be missed.
