Jerry graduated from Howard High School and later attended Middle Tennessee State University. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sherri; daughter, Tami (Mike) Joyner; sons, Timothy (Rose) Johnson and Jeffrey (Katrina) Johnson; grandchildren, Brent (Vanessa) Johnson, Brittany (Nate) Newbold, Chelsey (Dave) Sweazen, Chase (Hayley) and Chaney (Jason) Surzyn; and great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Elsie, Lydia, Emery, Emmett, Jax, Sadie, Callum, and Nolan.
