Born on January 20, 1983, in Rochester, New York, Jesse brought energy, generosity, and grit into every room he entered—and every life he touched.
A highly skilled carpenter by trade and a true craftsman at heart, Jesse took immense pride in his work. Whether he was installing molding or fixing something no one else could figure out, his hands told stories of hustle, strength, and relentless determination.
Jesse was a man of passion—especially when it came to cars. He had a deep appreciation for low-riders, custom rims, and the kind of details that made a vehicle stand out. But nothing brought him more pride or joy than his family. He was a devoted father whose love for his children was fierce, constant, and unmistakable—they were the center of his world.
Jesse shared a deep and enduring bond with his former wife, the mother of his three youngest children, Naomi Pimentel. She was the love of his life, and their connection remained rooted in respect and love for their family.
Jesse was the kind of person who made people feel seen. He told great stories, made you laugh from your gut, and never hesitated to tell you he was proud of you. He gave compliments freely and meant every word. His loyalty ran deep, and his presence made others feel stronger.
He is survived by his mother, Gail Marie Ashton La Tour; siblings James Edward La Tour, Michelle Lynn La Tour, and Renee Desiree La Tour; Dean Bennett, a lifelong family friend who Jesse proudly called “Uncle”; and his beloved children: Jesse James La Tour Jr, Jacob James La Tour, Lexi Vida La Tour, and Richard James La Tour.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin James La Tour; grandparents Harold and Violet Ashton; and his faithful dog, Rosco, who greeted him joyfully on the other side.

Jesse’s story will continue in the lives of his children, in every laugh he sparked, and in the memories held by all who loved him. He was one of a kind—and he will be deeply missed.
