It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jesus Morales Sr., a beloved and cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. Jesus passed away peacefully on June 17th, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of hard work, compassion, and love that will be felt for generations to come.
Jesus began his life's journey working the land as a farmer, where he learned the value of hard work, patience, and perseverance — lessons that would carry him through every chapter of his life. He later went on to build his own carpet laying business, taking great pride in his craftsmanship and the independence of being his own boss. He was a devoted and tireless worker who believed deeply in the dignity of an honest day's labor.
When he finally retired, Jesus traded his tools for a suitcase and set out to see the world. He traveled to China, Israel, Spain, and Mexico, soaking in new cultures and creating memories that he loved to share with his family. Closer to home, he found joy in simpler pleasures — fishing and hunting with loved ones, going for long walks, and always making time for the people he cared about.
Those who knew Jesus will remember him as hardworking, caring, and deeply compassionate, with a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room. He was, above all, a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather — the kind of man who showed his love through quiet dedication, a helping hand, and a good laugh.
Jesus is survived by his beloved wife; his four children; his 9 grandchildren; his 14 great-grandchildren; and his 1 great-great-granddaughter — a family that he built with love, patience, and unwavering devotion, and that will carry his memory forward in all they do.
Jesus will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His hard work, humor, compassion, and love for his family will remain a guiding light for all those who were fortunate enough to call him husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
