Friends, thank you for all of your kind words. It's because of the wonderful family, loyal friends and our faith that we get through the tough times such as these. @Shirley, I am so sorry to hear of your Grand daughter. We all expect to lose our parents at some point in our lives, but the loss of a young life such as your grand daughters is very hard to swallow. God bless! My Dad was a blessed man to know so many wonderful people during his life.

I met Jim in Devotions 5 at Phoenix Memorial Park when he would come out to tend Nancy's grave and I would be there tending my mother's. We always talked about our losses. He came every weekend as did I. The last time I spoke with him he said it was getting to be too difficult to come to Nancy's grave every week. He missed her so much and it was taking an emotional toll on him. I was at the cemetary this weekend. We had buried my 26 years old granddaughter at my mother's graveside on April 2nd. I was shocked to see the fresh soil and flowers at the plot beside Nancy. I am so very sorry for your loss. He was just a really nice gentleman and I enjoyed our talks. He is with Nancy now and I am sure that makes him extremely happy.
