She was born on June 1, 1933 in Kaiping, China. She was an only child but loved very dearly by her beloved father. She married the love of her life, Shao Wu Deng when she was 17 years old. She retired early at age 52 to care for her grandaughter and later immigrated to the United States in 1991 when her second grandaughter was born.
Jin will forever be missed and loved for her kindness, compassion, strength, resilience, and sweet giggles. Her top priority is making sure everyone who leaves her home has a full belly, especially filled with cookies. Her hulk strength and resilience got her through over 9 decades of hardships in life such as surviving wars, famine, and a pandemic.
Jin was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, and eldest son. She is survived by 4 children, 2 son in laws, 1 daughter in law, 4 grandchildren, 4 grandchildren in laws, and 2 great grandchildren.
There will be a funeral service to honor Jin for those who wish to say their final goodbye on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary
