Joe Arthur Deaton

Joe was born in Del Rio, Texas, on May 3, 1959. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Agriculture. Throughout his life, Joe worked in several professions, including landscaping, heating and air, and restaurant equipment repair.

On June 1, 2018, Joe married his wife, Brenda Deaton. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Joe had a deep passion for his family and helping others. He found joy in rodeos, fishing, racing cars, and working on vehicles. His kindness and willingness to lend a hand will always be remembered by those who knew him.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; his daughter, Novell and his son, Ira; his sisters, Cathy and Julia; and his brothers, Russ and Tom. He is also survived by many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service for Joe will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022.
