John Benjamin (Jay) Burkhardt, 94 of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on January 13, 2011. Jay was the original owner and operator of Jay's Air Conditioning for over twenty years in the valley. He could fix absolutely anything, including plumbing, electrical and heating. Jay was always happy helping others. He is survived by his son, Rick, daughter, Linda, sisters, Barbara, Shirley, Lola, Velma and brother, Bill. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel (602-272-5639), 719 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
